  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Other spices like nutmeg, allspice, or ginger can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional) Adjust depending on the sweetness of the apples.
  • 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional) Great addition for serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar if using.
  • Place the apples in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

Serving

  • Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

These apples can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze cooled apples in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
