Ingredients
  

Chicken and Coating Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture until well covered.
  • Spray the chicken with cooking spray.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze portions. For reheating, use the air fryer for a few minutes to retain crispiness.
