  • 2 whole eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)

Preparation

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  • Lightly butter one side of the bread and press a well into the center.
  • Crack one egg into each bread slice.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the whites.

Cooking

  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes, until the whites are set and cheese is melted.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Serve hot.

Notes

Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model for perfect results. Feel free to use any cheese you have on hand. Experiment with different types of bread for new flavors. For a healthier version, use whole-grain bread. Be careful not to overcook the eggs for a tender texture.
