  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cups Rice or vegetables, for serving Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the teriyaki sauce.
  • Toss the chicken pieces in the sauce until well coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  • Serve the teriyaki chicken over rice or veggies. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to toss the chicken well in the sauce for even flavor. Cooking time may vary based on the size of the chicken pieces; smaller pieces cook faster. You can substitute the chicken with tofu or beef for a different twist. Keep an eye on the chicken while it cooks to prevent overcooking. Add more vegetables into the air fryer for a complete meal in one batch!
