Ingredients
  

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Asian Zing Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce preferably dark
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp grated ginger

Optional Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions
 

Prepare the Wings:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  • Season wings with chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Marinate the Wings:

  • In a large bowl, mix the wings with half of the Asian Zing sauce.
  • Let them marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.

Cook the Wings:

  • Air Fryer: Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Oven: Place wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-18 minutes, turning once halfway.

Finish with Sauce:

  • Once cooked, toss the wings in the remaining Asian Zing sauce until well-coated.
  • Optional: Broil wings for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.

Serve:

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  • Serve hot with a side of ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce, fresh celery, and carrot sticks.
