  • 200 g spaghetti Use your favorite type of pasta.
  • 100 g bacon, diced Try turkey bacon for a lighter option.
  • 2 large eggs Best if freshly sourced.
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add more for heightened flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  • Add the hot spaghetti to the skillet with bacon, tossing to coat. Remove from heat.
  • Quickly stir in the egg mixture, mixing until a creamy sauce forms.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish is best enjoyed fresh and warm. Pair with a green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
