Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper

For the Avocado Lime Sauce

  • 1 piece avocado Must be ripe for creaminess
  • 1 lime lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish Fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the fillets with olive oil and sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado lime sauce by blending together the avocado, lime juice, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Once the salmon is done, top each fillet with the avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy, gourmet meal!

Notes

Keep leftovers fresh by storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Reheat in the oven to maintain texture.
