Ingredients
  

For the chicken skewers

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the chicken cubes in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  • Thread the coated chicken onto skewers.

Cooking

  • Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until the chicken is cooked through and golden.

Sauce Preparation

  • In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the Bang Bang sauce.

Serving

  • Serve the skewers with the sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, cut the chicken into uniform cubes. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; this helps them cook evenly. You can also experiment with different spices in the breadcrumb mixture.
