Prep Ingredients: Slice fresh ginger and squeeze lemon juice.
Heat Water: Bring 2 cups of filtered water to about 175°F (just before boiling).
Steep Tea: Add green tea bags and ginger slices to a cup or teapot. Pour hot water over them and let steep for 3-5 minutes.
Strain & Finish: Remove tea bags and strain ginger. Stir in fresh lemon juice. Add optional enhancers if desired.
Enjoy: Sip warm, or chill and serve over ice for a refreshing iced version.
Avoid fully boiling water as it can make green tea taste bitter. Let boiled water sit for 2 minutes before steeping.
Store extra ginger slices in the freezer for convenience.
Adjust steeping time based on your taste preference.
