Ingredients
  

Pizza Base

  • 1 piece pizza dough Store-bought or homemade

Toppings

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast Shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Divided for pizza and chicken mixture
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 piece red onion Sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro Chopped, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing the crust

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 475°F and roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Transfer the rolled dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet and brush the edges with olive oil.
  • Shred or chop the cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and toss it with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce until well coated.

Assembly

  • Spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and sliced red onions evenly over the cheese.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle fresh cilantro over the hot pizza before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze slices wrapped in plastic wrap in a freezer bag for longer storage.
