Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the broccoli and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  • Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sesame seeds or sliced green onions on top. Pair with a cucumber salad or steamed dumplings for a complete meal.
