- 4 lbs Beef back ribs membrane removed
- BBQ Rub enough to generously coat ribs
- 1 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp kosher salt
Braising Liquid:
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 cup Barbecue sauce
Prepare the Braising Liquid:
Combine beef stock, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke in a bowl.
Bake the Ribs:
Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
Place ribs on a baking tray lined with foil. Pour braising liquid around the ribs. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 3.5 to 4 hours or until internal temperature reaches 190-200°F (88-93°C).
