  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.) Feel free to substitute with your family's favorites.

Sauces and Seasonings

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps in thickening the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Use for stir-frying.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the marinated beef and cook until browned.
  • Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until veggies are tender-crisp.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat on low heat until warmed through.
