Glass
- 1-2 tsp blue spirulina powder
- 1 cup coconut water or almond milk
- 1 banana preferably frozen
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup ice optional
- Optional Add-ins:
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 tsp maca powder
- Splash of maple syrup
Add coconut water (or base liquid) to the blender.
Add the banana, pineapple, and any other fruits or optional add-ins. If using fresh fruit, add ice to the blender.
Add the blue spirulina powder carefully (it can stain). Start with 1/2 tsp if new to spirulina.
Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth. Add more liquid if it's too thick.
Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy right away. The color is most vibrant when fresh.
Blue spirulina powder can stain countertops and clothes, so handle carefully.
Store any leftover juice in a mason jar in the fridge and shake before drinking. Best within 24 hours.
Adjust the recipe based on your needs. Add maca for energy, ginger for a detox version, or avocado for creaminess.
