Ingredients
  

  • cups blueberries frozen preferred
  • 1 medium banana frozen for creaminess
  • ¾ cup milk of choice e.g., unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • Small handful of ice skip if using all frozen fruit

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 handful spinach
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Instructions
 

  • Pour milk into the blender first to help with blending.
  • Add banana, yogurt, and nut butter (if using) for a smoother blend.
  • Add blueberries and other frozen fruit next.
  • Sprinkle in chia seeds and any optional add-ins.
  • Top with ice if using fresh fruit.
  • Blend on low for 10 seconds, then high for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  • Adjust thickness with more milk or frozen fruit as needed.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Swap Greek yogurt for coconut yogurt for a dairy-free version.
Use frozen fruit instead of ice for a more intense flavor.
Make smoothie packs by pre-portioning ingredients into freezer bags for quick blending.
