This blueberry infused water is the easiest way to stay hydrated with a delicious, subtly sweet flavor. With only a few simple ingredients, you can make a refreshing drink that keeps you cool and motivated to drink more water every day.

Equipment

  • Large glass pitcher or mason jar
  • Spoon or fork for mashing
  • Knife (for slicing lemon or cucumber)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 to 1.5 cups fresh blueberries organic recommended
  • 2 quarts 8 cups clean, filtered water

Optional mix-ins:

  • 1/2 lemon sliced
  • Few sprigs of mint basil, or rosemary
  • 1/2 cucumber sliced
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • Ice for serving

Instructions
 

Prep the Blueberries:

  • Rinse the blueberries under cold water. Lightly smash about 1/3 of them with a fork or spoon to release flavor.

Assemble:

  • Add the blueberries and any optional ingredients (lemon slices, mint, etc.) to a large glass pitcher or mason jar.

Add Water:

  • Pour 2 quarts of clean, filtered water over the ingredients.

Infuse:

  • Let the mixture sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours (overnight for stronger flavor).

Serve:

  • Pour over ice and enjoy. Garnish with fresh blueberries or herbs for extra appeal.

Storage:

  • Keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. After that, remove the fruit and start fresh.

Notes

For stronger flavor, gently crush more blueberries.
Avoid metal containers, as they can alter the taste.
Experiment with different herb and fruit combinations for variety.
