Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • ½ medium orange peeled
  • ¾ to 1 cup almond milk dairy or non-dairy
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • Optional: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Add liquid ingredients (almond milk) to the blender first.
  • Add soft fruits (banana and orange) to the blender.
  • Top with frozen blueberries and any optional ingredients.
  • Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding honey or maple syrup.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use more frozen fruit.
You can make this smoothie ahead of time by preparing a smoothie pack and storing it in the freezer.
