Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs Boneless beef short ribs
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 cup Beef broth optional
  • 1 tsp Onion powder optional
  • 1 tsp Chili powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (149°C).
  • Season the boneless beef short ribs with salt, pepper, and spices.
  • Arrange ribs in a greased baking dish or Dutch oven in a single layer.
  • In a small bowl, mix vinegar, hot pepper sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and thyme. Pour the mixture over the ribs to coat evenly.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil or a lid.
  • Bake for 2.5 hours.
  • Remove the foil and baste the ribs with the liquid. Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
  • For a crispy finish, broil ribs for 4-5 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
