  • 1 batch Dough Homemade or store-bought
  • 8 slices Bacon Cooked until crispy
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar For the filling
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon For the filling
  • 1/2 cup Pecans Chopped, optional
  • 1 large Egg For dough enrichment
  • 1/2 cup Milk For dough preparation

For the bourbon maple drizzle

  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup For drizzling on rolls
  • 2 tablespoons Bourbon Adjust based on preference

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  • Prepare the dough and roll it out.
  • Spread a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped bacon on top of the rolled-out dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly, slice into rolls, and place them in a baking dish.

Baking

  • Drizzle with bourbon maple syrup.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, approximately 20-25 minutes.

Notes

Make sure the bacon is crispy for added texture. Let the rolls cool slightly before adding the syrup for better adherence. You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to a month.
