Brie and Apple Flatbread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre -baked flatbread (12-inch)
  • 150 g Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil until golden brown and caramelized, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Place the flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Distribute the caramelized onions evenly across the surface of the flatbread.
  • Arrange the sliced Brie and apples in an alternating, overlapping pattern over the onions.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are crisp.
  • Remove from oven and drizzle with honey immediately before slicing and serving.
