  • 1 medium head Cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ cup Water or Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or Vegan Butter, melted
  • Olive Oil Spray, for crisping

Preparation

  • Set the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Lightly grease the parchment paper with olive oil spray.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, shake off the excess, and arrange on the baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway for even crispness.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with hot sauce, then toss baked florets gently in the mixture.
  • Return to the oven for 10 more minutes until sizzling and caramelized. Serve immediately.

Notes

These bites are delicious on their own but pair well with a creamy ranch or blue cheese dip. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
