Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Frying pan or air fryer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Salad tongs
  • Grater for parmesan

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • cup Caesar dressing homemade or store-bought

For the Fries:

  • 2 cups thick-cut fries frozen or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil if baking
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Add-ons:

  • Bacon bits
  • Avocado slices
  • Grilled chicken or steak
  • Sweet potato fries
  • Sriracha drizzle

Instructions

Prepare the Fries:

  • Bake, air-fry, or deep-fry the fries according to package directions or until golden and crispy. Season with salt.

Make the Salad Base:

  • In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing until evenly coated.

Add Toppings:

  • Sprinkle grated parmesan and croutons over the salad base. Mix gently.

Combine:

  • While fries are still warm, add them directly into the salad. Toss lightly or arrange them across the top.

Serve Immediately:

  • For best texture, serve the salad while the fries are hot and crispy.

Notes

For a healthier version, use baked fries or air-fried sweet potato fries.
To elevate for date night, use truffle fries or add grilled shrimp.
For a hearty version, top with grilled chicken or chickpeas.
This dish is best served fresh—avoid making it too far in advance as fries can become soggy.
