Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ cup thick caramel sauce
  • 1 apple, finely diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or toffee bits (optional)
  • 1 pinch sea salt (optional)
  • Apple slices, for serving
  • Graham crackers, for serving
  • Vanilla wafers, for serving
  • Pretzels, for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until fluffy. Fold in heavy cream or whipped topping if using for a lighter texture.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture into a shallow serving dish or pie plate, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Pour caramel sauce evenly over the cheesecake layer. Gently spread with a spoon to cover fully.
  • Toss diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning. Spoon apples evenly over caramel.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans, toffee bits, or a pinch of sea salt if desired. Chill for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with apple slices, graham crackers, pretzels, or cookies for dipping. Enjoy chilled.

Notes
