  • 1 can flaky biscuit dough Use your favorite brand of biscuit dough.
  • 4 large eggs Eggs should be scrambled until soft and creamy.
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped You can substitute with sausage or turkey bacon.
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Can substitute with goat cheese for a tangy flavor.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the biscuit dough package instructions.
  • In a skillet, scramble the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  • Roll out the biscuit dough and cut it into squares.
  • Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, chopped bacon, and cheddar cheese in the center of each square.
  • Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a pocket.
  • Place the biscuit bombs on a baking sheet and bake according to package directions, or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These biscuit bombs are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for best results.
