  • 1 cup ranch dressing Any favorite ranch dressing can be used.
  • 3 cups frozen tater tots Can swap for hash browns if desired.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more cheese for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with ranch dressing, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  • Top the chicken mixture with frozen tater tots.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for 1-2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through or use the microwave for a quick option.
