Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. To freeze, wrap individual slices and place them in a freezer bag. Reheat in toaster or microwave until warm.
