Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and black pepper.
  • Separate the biscuit dough into 8 individual biscuits. On a clean surface, flatten each biscuit slightly.
  • Place a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of bacon bits in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Carefully gather the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  • Dip each sealed dough ball into the seasoned melted butter mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Arrange the coated dough balls in the prepared baking pan, leaving space between them.

Baking

  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Once out of the oven, lightly brush with any remaining seasoned butter if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze them for up to two months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or microwave for a quick snack.
