For the Pizza Rolls

  • 6 pieces high-protein tortillas or wraps Use whole grain or low-carb wraps for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup cooked and seasoned lean ground turkey or chicken Browned and seasoned to taste.
  • ½ cup reduced-fat mozzarella cheese For a gooey texture.
  • ¼ cup turkey pepperoni slices Can substitute with regular pepperoni for more flavor.
  • cup marinara sauce (no sugar added) For a healthier option, use homemade marinara.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp oregano Dried or fresh can be used.
  • to taste olive oil spray or egg wash For crisping.
  • to taste optional: chili flakes, fresh basil, cottage cheese or ricotta For added flavor and creaminess.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the ground turkey or chicken in a skillet with garlic powder and oregano. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, mix the cooked meat, cheese, pepperoni, and marinara sauce.
  • Lay out the tortillas. Spoon filling into the center of each, fold sides in, and roll tightly like a burrito.
  • Brush with olive oil or egg wash.

Cooking

  • For Air Fryer: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Cook rolls for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • For Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.

Serving

  • Let cool slightly. Serve with dipping sauce or fresh herbs.

Notes

These pizza rolls make an excellent snack or main dish. Pair with a fresh salad or veggies for a complete meal. Leftover pizza rolls can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for later use. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
