Ingredients
  

For the poppers

  • 2 cups shredded chicken Cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Or to taste
  • 2 medium jalapeños Diced
  • 1 cup crust Breadcrumbs or dough

For the creamy dip

  • 1 cup sour cream Or Greek yogurt as a substitute
  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chives Chopped, or green onions

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, sharp cheddar, ranch seasoning, and diced jalapeños.
  • Prepare your crust and scoop the mixture into it, covering each popper completely.

Baking

  • Place the poppers on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.

Making the dip

  • In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, lime juice, garlic powder, and chives until smooth.

Serving

  • Serve the poppers hot with the creamy dip on the side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the poppers for a couple of minutes after baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze for up to two months.
