Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk the flour and baking soda together.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  • Mix in the vanilla and eggs until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips carefully.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers are soft.
