- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
Gradually add the milk while whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
