  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Ensure it's gluten-free for gluten-free version.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor depth.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.
  • Stir in the baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
