  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 0.5 cup fresh raspberries Substitute frozen if necessary.
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips Can use semi-sweet or dark chips.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  • Gently fold in the raspberries and chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
  • Allow to cool before serving and enjoy your cookies!

Notes
