Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional) Optional ingredient for extra chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon water (if needed) Add to adjust texture.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and protein powder.
  • Add peanut butter and honey, and mix until well combined.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until the mixture is moldable.
  • Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in size).
  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

These protein balls can be enjoyed on their own, paired with fruit, or added to lunchboxes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
