Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and holiday sprinkles.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage, separating layers with parchment paper.
