Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar Use packed brown sugar for best results.
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 12 oz Chocolate Chips Dark or semi-sweet chocolate recommended.
  • 1 box Saltine Crackers Approximately 40 crackers.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a 9 by 13 inch pan with foil and place a layer of Saltine crackers in the pan.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
  • Pour the hot mixture over the crackers and bake in the oven for 7 minutes.

Finishing Touch

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot cracker base.
  • Spread the melting chocolate like icing and add any toppings you like.
  • Refrigerate to cool, then break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Can also be frozen for later use. Microwave to soften the chocolate if needed.
