  • 1 box box of cake mix (yellow or vanilla)
  • 8 oz package cream cheese, softened Use softened for smoother batter
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, softened cream cheese, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • Use a spoon or cookie scoop to form small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and add sprinkles if desired before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in a microwave for 10-15 seconds or in a preheated oven at 300°F for a few minutes.
