  • 4 cups rice cereal
  • 10 oz marshmallows Use fresh for best texture
  • 3 tablespoons butter Add more if the mixture is too sticky

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until well coated.
  • Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • Decorate with festive sprinkles, colored sugar, or drizzle with melted white chocolate.
  • Allow to cool, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Can be frozen for up to three months. Let thaw at room temperature.
