  • 3 tablespoons butter Melted
  • 10 oz marshmallows 1 package, melted together with butter
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal To be mixed with melted butter and marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup festive sprinkles For decoration
  • optional colored sugar or white chocolate For drizzling

Preparation

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and add the crispy rice cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into a greased pan (9x13 inch) and allow it to cool.
  • Once cooled, cut into squares or balls.
  • Decorate with festive sprinkles, colored sugar, or drizzle with melted white chocolate.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For freezing, wrap individual pieces in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer bag.
