Dough and Twists

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough Use fresh for the best texture.
  • 1/4 cup sugar For the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Provides the signature flavor.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Helps the sugar stick.

Dip

  • 1 cup cream cheese Room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar For sweetness in the dip.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds additional flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Brush each triangle with melted butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Twist each triangle and place on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Preparing the Dip

  • Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Serving

  • Serve the twists warm with the cream cheese dip.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, place in a freezer-safe bag with parchment paper between layers. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
