  • 1 sheet puff pastry Make sure it's cold for flakiness.
  • 1/4 cup sugar For the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon For added spice.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash to create a golden finish.

For serving

  • to taste Sweetened cream cheese For dipping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mix over the pastry.
  • Cut the pastry into strips and twist them before placing on a baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Serve warm with sweetened cream cheese dip.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. You can also freeze any extras. Just ensure they are fully cooled first. Reheat them in the oven for a few minutes to restore their crispiness.
