Ingredients
  

For the cookie dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Let the butter soften at room temperature for best results.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Make sure to measure your flour properly for the right texture.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Feel free to swap for semi-sweet chips if preferred.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well combined.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreos and white chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These cookies are wonderful on their own or served alongside a cold glass of milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for about three months.
