  • 1 slice sourdough or whole-grain bread
  • 1/2 cup full -fat small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives, minced

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread slice in a toaster or oven until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Spread the cottage cheese in an even layer across the surface of the warm toast.
  • Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the cottage cheese.
  • Season the top with cracked black pepper and flaky sea salt.
  • Garnish with minced chives and serve immediately.
