Equipment

  • Mini muffin tin
  • Knife to cut brie
  • Cutting board
  • Oven
  • pastry brush (optional for glaze)

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
  • chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • orange zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour your work surface and unfold the puff pastry. Cut into 12 equal squares.
  • Place each puff pastry square into a mini muffin tin, pressing to form cups. Add a cube of brie in each and top with 1 tsp cranberry sauce.
  • Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if using. Add herbs, nuts, or zest as desired.
  • Bake for 13–15 minutes or until puffed and golden, and the brie is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Use cold puff pastry for flakier results. Trim the brie rind for a smoother melt. Garnish with fresh herbs or nuts for added texture. Assemble ahead of time and bake just before serving for convenience.
