  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add a little olive oil if needed and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets and cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet and mix well.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently. For freezing, use a freezer-safe container but note texture may change.
