Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb Salmon fillets Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs Mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  • 1/2 cup Flour For dredging
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten, for coating
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce For tossing or dipping
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha To taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil For frying or as needed

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer.
  • Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Breading and Cooking

  • Dredge each salmon piece in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko.
  • Place the coated salmon bites on a baking sheet or fry them in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through.

Serving

  • In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce with sriracha to taste.
  • Toss the cooked salmon bites in the sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.
  • Enjoy as an appetizer, snack, or main course.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, place them in an airtight container in the fridge. They can last up to two days. If you want to freeze them, put them in a freezer-safe bag. To reheat, bake them in the oven for a few minutes until warm and crispy again.
