Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package Frozen potato-and-cheese pierogis
  • 14 oz Kielbasa (smoked Polish sausage) Sliced
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions
  • 1 cup Creamy sauce (sour cream or cream of mushroom soup) Choose your preferred option
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Optional Additions

  • to taste Extra cheese
  • to taste More veggies (spinach, bell peppers, etc.)
  • to taste Crispy topping For added texture

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In the Crock Pot, layer half of the frozen pierogis.
  • Add half of the kielbasa, caramelized onions, and a layer of the creamy sauce.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the pierogis are tender.

Serving

  • Serve hot and enjoy with your choice of salads or crusty bread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warm. For extra flavor, consider adding sour cream or fresh herbs before serving.
