Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup hone y
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp green onions, sliced for garnish
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
  • Steam the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp, then drain and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce into the skillet with the shrimp and bring to a simmer for 1-2 minutes until the glaze thickens.
  • Add the steamed broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together to ensure the ingredients are evenly coated in the sauce.
  • Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
