1lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into fillets
1lb freshgreen beans, trimmed
2tbsp extravirgin olive oil
2cloves garlic, minced
1tsp koshersalt
0.5tsp groundblack pepper
0.5tsp driedoregano
1tbsp freshlemon juice
Instructions
Season chicken fillets evenly with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken to the skillet and sear for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove chicken from the skillet and transfer to a plate; tent with foil to keep warm.
Add the green beans to the same skillet, adding a tablespoon of water if necessary to steam. Sauté for 5 to 8 minutes until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
Add minced garlic to the beans and cook for 60 seconds until fragrant.
Return the chicken to the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, and toss to combine before serving.
