Easy Pizza Roses

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 48 slices pepperon i
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 6-cup jumbo muffin tin.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle and cut into 6 long strips, approximately 2 inches wide.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce down the center of each strip.
  • Place pepperoni slices along the top edge of the strip, overlapping them slightly so the top half of the pepperoni hangs over the edge of the dough.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and dried oregano over the bottom half of the dough strip.
  • Fold the bottom half of the dough up over the cheese, covering the bottom half of the pepperoni slices.
  • Carefully roll the strip from one end to the other to create the rose shape and place into the prepared muffin tin.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the dough is cooked through and the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin.
